Description

Global Handwashing Day is October 15! This event will promote handwashing before preparing recipes or eating meals.

Guest speakers will include Dr. Mindy Brashears with USDA; Dr. David Berendes with CDC; and Glenda Hyde with Oregon State University Extension. Students from Bruce-Monroe Elementary, a Spanish immersion school in Washington, D.C., will be joining the event to show off their handwashing skills!

This live, interactive webinar will demonstrate:

• Why proper handwashing before preparing recipes for the communities you serve is really important
• How handwashing reduces illness and creates better lives for the families you serve
• How hand hygiene is key to family health

CEUs will be available from ANFP, CDR and NEHA.
